First of all, we are so sorry that you’ve experienced a loss, whether it is a physical or emotional. We and so many women in similar situations all over the world grieve with you and want to remind you that no matter how you feel, you are not alone.
Experiencing the physical or emotional loss of a mother means that you are probably feeling more sadness than you ever thought possible. Losing a loved one can be very difficult. The emotional impact can take a long time to heal. Allowing yourself to grieve the loss can help you come to accept it over time.
As humans we need to share our stories so we can be seen in our grief in order to move through it. Healing in community, with individuals who understand your pain and are ready to sit with you in your pain can be an enormous gift. We also understand how terrifying this can be. Please know that we see the courage it takes to show up and say I am hurting.
This drop in group is facilitated by two trained group therapist, Sara and Shanti who have both personal and professional experience with grief. These women are capable of going deep and will hold a safe and loving space of nurturing love.
