Thrive: Community Circle

  • The Hive 205 NW Franklin Ave Bend United States (map)

It is time for women and men to sit in circles together so we can collectively heal and grow. Diving deep in mixed gendered community gives us the opportunity to balance our masculine and feminine energies within. We invite you to circle in so we can connect, share, grow, and hold space for the Divine Masculine & Feminine beings in our community.

This circle is about connection to our self through our connection with community while raising each other up. We will cultivate sacred time together to see the gifts we are to each other as human beings. We will heal some old wounds through processing and create new paradigms to shift our own consciousness, that will ripple out in to the world. Join us to share your truth and be heard!

What is Thrive?
Thrive is a closed co-ed group. Once circle starts new members will not be able to join. Each week we will explore a different topic using compassion, vulnerability and active listening skills as a foundation for connection. Topics include, but are not limited to; meaning/purpose, healing, trauma, shame, integrity, connection, vulnerability, truth, boundaries, self-care, and relationships.

Each week begins with a check in, a short grounding meditation, and then depending on what is going on with the group we may jump into our weekly topic. Circles are very fluid meaning although there is a weekly topic the facilitator follows the energy of the group and allows the group to lead.

What does a circle look like?
When in circle we put our attention on one person, and we will explore what her/his experience is like, essentially getting into deep relationship with what is most true and alive for her/him.
The experience of being seen for who we are is one of the most fulfilling experiences we can have. Being in circle teaches us exactly that, how to see and celebrate each woman for the uniqueness she brings to the world.
We don’t give advice or try to fix anyone. Rather, we welcome and stay with what is so we can relax into the truth of our experience, feel supported, know we are not alone and allow the experience of this to change us.

About the Facilitator:
Shanti O'Connor is a nationally certified counselor. She has been running groups and circles for over 10 years. She has a passion for group work and helping other heal through connection. Showing up, being vulnerable and being seen is some of the most challenging work one can do in community, this is why she loves it so deeply.
