Birth Circle is a co-ed circle for families to gather and share stories of birth. Families who are preparing for birth as well as families who have welcomed a child into their life are welcome to join. You do not need to have a story in order to join the circle. All are welcome. All that is required is an open heart and an open mind.

Shanti, who is facilitating this circle, believes all birth stories are relevant and important to share in community. She is on a mission to change birth through storytelling. She believes storytelling is powerful, healing, and transforms lives. She also knows first hand of how sharing your story in community changes you. It removes shame and creates healing through connection.

This is an opportunity for families to gather and share. This is not about comparing or making anyone wrong. In circle we witness and we lift each other up. In sharing our story and witnessing we are challenged, we teach and we learn. With every tiny bit of support that is exchanged, intentional or not, we become more fulfilled people, and better parents for our babies.
