Your Moonlight Chef // Katie Hill

Katie Hill is the private chef for all of Rooted&Open's retreats. She is an industry-trained personal chef, private event chef, and personal home-cook serving Bend and Central Oregon. Katie specializes in private event dining, in-home cooked meals, and retreat cooking.

As a retreat chef, Katie sees meals as an additional modal for providing pleasure, relaxation, and rejuvenation for guests. Katie designs all meals to deliver a variety of delicious flavors while accommodating every dietary need so that attendees feel safe, healthy, and taken care of.

Katie prioritizes nourishing ingredients that promote healthy bodies, happy communities, and a sustainable planet. She shops locally, seasonally, and sustainably as much as possible, and, above all, she makes food taste delicious!
